Following their name rebrand and refocus which was covered by Channel Info earlier this month, the business supplies wholesaler VOW Wholesale has been shortlisted for several awards within the business and office supplies sector.

VOW Wholesale will be hoping to win three awards from the Direct Commerce Awards at an award ceremony being held in June, along with an award being presented at The Stationers Company Innovation Excellence Awards, also taking place in the same month.

VOW Wholesale Shortlisted at Stationers’ Company Innovation Excellence Awards

Starting with the first of four awards that VOW Wholesale has been shortlisted for, the Stationers’ Company Innovation Excellence Awards are presented each year at the historic Stationers’ Hall.

As noted on The Stationers Company website, the Innovation Excellence Awards help in recognising the key role that the communications and content industry play in the current UK economy, highlighting outstanding innovation in the sector and presents an opportunity for businesses to share best practice.

The event, fully titled as the 2019 Stationers’ Company Innovation Awards, will see a panel of expert judges rating all entrants based on their economic performance, overall potential, novelty and social impact.

At last year’s event, the Innovator of the Year award was given to Parkside Flexibles (UK and Asia) Ltd, a company which specializes in advanced packaging and flexographic printing solutions.

Other award winners at the event were:

The event, taking place this year at Twickenham Stadium on the 13th of June with awards presented by World Cup winning rugby player Will Greenwood MBE, celebrates the hard work and excellence shown by businesses of all scales and stages of development throughout the calendar year.

It also rewards those involved for demonstrating excellence in direct-to-customer retailing across traditional and newly emerging channels, and features awards categories for both B2B and B2C facing businesses.

VOW Wholesale will have some strong competition much like last year at the Direct Commerce Awards, with other leading names including Charles Tyrwhitt, F. Hinds, Office Power, ProCook, Screwfix and Virgin Experience Days being just a few of those also shortlisted to receive awards on the night.
