BOSS Launch State of Office Supplies Survey

In response to the pressures attached to the current coronavirus pandemic for businesses, the BOSS Federation have launched their State of Office Supplies Survey to help collect feedback on industry wide concerns.

Their latest survey, which focuses on the overall state of trade in the office supplies industry, follows on from previous surveys that have been created by BOSS.

Each survey requests feedback from key stakeholders on the type of additional support they may require post-lockdown due to the impact that the current COVID-19 pandemic has had on their business or organization.

The State of Office Supplies Survey

Via a news article on their website, BOSS say:

“Throughout COVID-19, BOSS have been issuing Business Impact Surveys to the industry and feeding these results directly into the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS)

We looked to establish initial impact of the pandemic on companies within our sector and then asked what further support businesses needed as they emerged from lockdown.”

The collated results from the State of Office Supplies survey will be used to submit a representation on behalf of the industry to HM treasury at the next Comprehensive Spending Review.”

Addressing the Future of the Industry

Along with their State of Office Supplies survey, BOSS have partnered with BPIF (British Printing Industries Federation) and VMC (Visual Media Conference) to create Future Focus, a virtual event to help address some of the new challenges and issues that organizations may be facing as a result of the after effects of the COVID-19 lockdowns.
