New Office Friendly Managing Director Appointed

Office Supplies Blog has recently learned that a new Office Friendly Managing Director has been appointed and will join the office products dealer group in June.

Following the departure of Julie Hawley last month, office supplies dealer group Office Friendly have announced that Jeanette Bresitz will start her new role on June 1st as Office Friendly Managing Director.

Bresitz is joining the company after leading the merchandising and marketing functions at Staples since 2017 and provides a wealth of experience in the office supplies and business products sector, with some of her other roles including stints at Viking Direct and Spicers.

Office Friendly Chairman, Gordon Profit, has been confirmed to continue looking after the vacant position until Bresitz joins the company next month.

‘A Candidate That Fulfilled All the Board’s Criteria’

Speaking more on the appointment of Jeanette Bresitz as new Office Friendly MD, Profit commented:

Jeanette has emerged as the candidate that fulfilled all the Boards criteria.

Not only does she bring a wealth of experience, but she will bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the role.”

Bresitz ‘Thrilled to Be Joining’ as New Office Friendly Managing Director

Providing some further thoughts on her new upcoming role, Jeanette Bresitz expressed:

End of an Era at Office Friendly

Bresitz appointment comes off the back of news that Julie Hawley was set to leave the role of Office Friendly Managing Director to take up an Executive Director of Finance role at Yorkshire Purchasing Organization.

Speaking to Dealer Support in March, Hawley reflected on her 15 years at the company, commenting:

“I have spent 15 great years at Office Friendly and this has not been an easy decision to make, however, I live the business in rude health.

I am first and foremost from a finance background and this opportunity was too good to turn down.”

Hawley adds:

“I am immensely proud of what we have achieved at Office Friendly and I would like to thank the team, members, board and chairman for all their wonderful support in my time with the company.”
